In any given scenario, across most verses, Sephira is just a traveling mercenary for hire. Though in certain verses she has different, more specific roles similar to that of where she began in VII. [Below examples are from Myspace/Forum/Misc interactions]

In the π‘πžπ¬π’ππžπ§π­ 𝐄𝐯𝐒π₯ verse, she was an undercover double agent of sorts who helped both Umbrella and S.T.A.R.S for her own personal gain. She traded secrets between both opposing forces until she'd been discovered and detained by Umbrella, winding up as their 'secret weapon' after several successful experiments [ involving subjecting her to a strain of a mutation of the T-Virus] paid off in both making her more powerful and forcing her to help clean up their mess after each outbreak.

In the 𝐒𝐒π₯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐒π₯π₯ verse, she had befriended Alyssa while on a mission to the accursed town. Years later, Rufus sent her to Silent Hill on a suicide mission that resulted in her disappearance. Many had thought her dead, but her lover and friends never gave up on the hope of seeing her again. Despite her being friends with Alyssa, the evil of the reverse world took it's toll on the woman and she eventually succumbed to the darkness, becoming a new guardian to Alyssa and destroying any threats or unfortunate souls that had wandered into her realm. Months later, her lover accompanied his fellow Turks in an attempt to extract her from the mining town's clutches and bring her back. They were successful, but had evoked Alyssa's wrath in the process. [This SL was never completed.]

Sloth's Personal Jurisdiction

As you find yourself wandering around the infamous castle of Sin, you cannot help but to be drawn towards Sloth's chambers. The decor is simple and yet refined. There are two large recliner chairs placed in different corners of the room and should one be visiting after a long journey, they would most certainly find themselves walking straight for the bed. After all, who could resist such a comfortable looking four poster bed, soft ice curtains and silk sheets pulled back invitingly with large pillows just beckoning one to lay their head down if for only a moment. The most weary of travelers couldn't resist and would not be able to even if they tried.

But the one thing that stands out most about Sloth's chambers is the rather ominous looking gate that has sacred runes engraved in it's titanium foundation. These runes protect the Sin and her minions from anything that means to bring them harm. The only Sins allowed to pass freely through her are Pride, Gluttony and Sloth herself.Upon closer examination, it seems to have solid ice in the middle of it...

Imagine, if you will...this large gate towering above you, drawing you in and growing colder the closer you get to it. When you lift your hand to touch the icy substance, you find that your fingers, though feeling frigid, pass right through to an unseen plane. It is at this point that you hear a voice call out warning in your mind that sends a chill down the back of your spine.

'𝙏π™ͺ𝙧𝙣 π™—π™–π™˜π™  𝙣𝙀𝙬, π™‘π™šπ™¨π™¨ 𝙩𝙝𝙀π™ͺ π™¬π™žπ™¨π™π™šπ™¨ 𝙩𝙀 π™—π™šπ™‘π™€π™£π™œ 𝙩𝙀 π™’π™š....'

It is the only apprise you will receive. Should you wish to ignore it and venture forth, the consequences result in your soul being inherited to Sloth. However, if this truly is what one wishes, to follow under this Sin, once they pass through the gate they arrive in a realm that appears to be nothing but an open sky full of clouds. When you look down, you seem to be hovering, walking on air itself.

Just in front of you is a marble pillar with a large book that has silver trimmed pages. It lays open to the mid section and there is a long feather with a sharp point laying atop the intricately signed pages. If you desire to follow under Sloth, you feel inclined to sign the book. After signing, you feel...different, somehow. As though your life has been prolonged as long as you are on good terms with Sloth.

Of course were one to betray Sloth, their soul would become a part of her mantle, the Lethargic Soul, making it stronger and leaving the previous owner nothing more than an empty shell for her to control or dispose of.


The atmosphere is not always the same in her domain. Everything depends entirely on her mood. When mellow, the skies are clear and full of clouds. If angry, they are nearly black and stormy, lightning clashing all around. Most of the time, the Portcullis is just a never ending white void that reacts to the lesser Sins thoughts and feelings when Sloth is not present.

It is the most peaceful place to lounge about lazily, undisturbed by anyone or anything other than Sloth herself.

Ave is a cool and collected woman nine tenths of the time but when she is angry, her temper can match War's evenly. She's intellectual, thinking things through before diving head first into battle and causing an uproar. Ave is both patient and wise, and she prefers to take care of things without hesitation. Suiting to her role, she is a natural born leader and has no problem taking charge of situations once she's had a moment to assess them. There are times when she gets frustrated and needs a moment to herself to think clearly and she will retire to her private garden to tend to her plants.

She is known to be rather over confident at times and that is her only disadvantage. Usually she has the common sense not to misjudge or underestimate her opponents.

γ€ŠAppearance: 》
When you first see Ave, it is easy to mistake her for a man. She rides into battle fully clad in a titanium suit of armor custom forged for her by the Gods and Goddesses of war. It is only after she removes her helm and those snowy waves of hair fall around her slender face does one realize she is in fact a woman. Of course if one is fortunate enough to see her outside of battle it's easy to see such when she is clad in her normal attire of course.

Her eyes are the color of the ocean, clear blue on her good days and stormy on her bad ones. Her flesh is almost ashen and her entire body is covered in strange tattoos that resemble runes.

Conquest is what any true warrior hopes to find while in the midst of battle. Over time, many have come to taste victory and many more have been met with bitter defeat. Ave is known to be a direct descendant from Athena herself, and thus she has always sought to achieve nothing but the highest honor and glory by marching victoriously through battle.
